Board Description
Berlin, Germany
Since Germany became a nation in 1871, the country's capital, Berlin, has always reflected its history, both the negative and positive sides. The many ups and downs have made Berlin a city of change.

Most of Berlin was destroyed after the second world war, but many landmarks have either been restored or reconstructed.

After the fall of the wall, historic areas like Potsdamer Platz and Pariser Platz were completely revamped. Nowadays, Berlin is once again one of the greatest European cities: lively, dynamic and inviting.
