"Normally I just hunt deer or any other game that cross my path. And if I Hunted humans... well, that's called cannibalism. I Told you I was human." He took a collective sigh it seemed he was going to have to explain himself. a little more. "Technically I'm not a shape-shifter, I was born human and i have the life span of a normal human. The people i grew up with are a class of aborigines known as Druids. We druid worship nature and have discovered secret to controlling some aspects of it. For example we have learned to change our natural form into the another"
We can also do other things." He stopped and bent down to take something out of his boot. He pulled out a steel spear head that, from the looks of it had been broken off of a wooden shaft, as evidence by the oak shard it was attached to. "We can communicate with Plants and animals, and... "He concentrated on the broken piece of wood the broken side of the wood started glowing an eerie green, and suddenly like a tree time lapse reel the wood began to grow as if it where alive. It kept growing and growing into it was a 5foot long oak shaft. The spear was once again whole. "We can also manipulate some aspects of nature to our will." He was careful to keep the point of the spear facing the sky so that Mikaela didn't perceive what he was doing as a threat.
"And I'm only 31. I've live in the woods my whole life , and quite frankly I'm getting bored. This hunting human hunters sounds like an interesting occupation. Is there any chance of me joining your pack, so to speak."

"Interesting..." Mikaela mumbled to himself after his brief explanation. He stopped short, though, and focused on a spearhead he yanked from his boot. She had reached for her Browning and aimed it - practice, practice, practice - before she realized he was making the shaft grow. Oh. "Oops." was all she muttered as she shoved her gun back into its holster. Fast draw, her? Naw. "Hm..neat trick. I'm betting it's plenty useful when you're hunting."
Mikaela started forward again, blond tendrils catching in the chilled breeze. She didn't shiver, but she did feel the cold. Mikaela stopped as the man said he was thirty-one. Had he really said that? He looked younger for some reason. Perhaps being a druid had something to do with that. She would have guessed he was older, though. Much older. Maybe he just knew a whole lot. Yeah, that had to be it. Riiight.
"What's kept you in the woods, and where are you from? You certainly aren't from here." He had no German accent. Mikaela had a Spanish one. Would he have picked up on that, too? She smirked at his name for her organization. Pack, fancy that. They could have little guard-dogs and everything. It made Mikaela giggle, but she kept her glittering eyes ahead of her and continued forward. She did not want to be in the park much longer, if she could keep from it. Would the scent of this druid mess up any tracking the vampire, Leo, might want to do? Hopefully. But Mikaela couldn't count on that.
"Possible." was all she eeked out as she moved forward. "I'd really like to be out of here A S A P though. I'm not fond of leaving my scent behind to be tracked, and the closer to civilization we are, the better. I've got enough Blessed Crosses to light a bonfire to a vampire, and enough Holy Water to drown one, but I seriously don't want to have to use any tonight. Spare supplies, blah blah blah. You know." Mikaela stopped mid-sentence. She was about to say something about standard-issue, but no, he didn't know. He wasn't a hunter. Duh.
"Well, if you become a hunter, you'll know. You'd have to go through training." And who would train him? Certainly not herself, and each teacher could only have one student at a time, so that ruled out Cloud. Who else would be strong enough to teach a shapeshifter druid? It only really left her father. For some reason, she wasn't keen on the idea. But she never was. Though the memory of Cloud training under her father brought a sharp laugh, quickly (and badly) covered as a cough. She'd seen Cloud beat more times than he would ever like to admit. Maybe there was something to that whole..age makes better thing after all. She would test that theory later, on Cloud. "That includes weaponry, by the by. Modern weaponry.." she stressed the word 'modern' and let that hang in the air as she continued her way toward the edge of the park.
"So are you escorting me all the way to my plane?" She smiled then, a small cheshire grin. She was poking, seeing if he had any humor. He would need it in this business.

She really needed to calm down a bit. She seemed a little to jumpy. He guessed she had reason. But he hadn't given her any reason to fear him. At least she hadn't shot.
"He smiled at her comment about training. "Imagine, putting a wolf like me into obedience school. And if any of them are as paranoid as you I'll probably end up in a shock collar. Is there no way to just become a ally to your group? I mean if i joined i'd join for the action of getting out and doing something other than camping for a while. I don't feel like going through any training though. And I'll follow you onto your plane if they allow pets in the cabin." He said with a smirk.

"Obedience school..?" Mikaela chuckled with an incredulous look on her face. "And hey, I'm not paranoid. You took out a possible weapon. I'm still learning about you. Can't be too careful, false pretenses and whatnot. Though I don't mean you'd be lying I've just gotten so used to lies over the years it's amazing when someone isn't lying..." She rushed the last long sentence out, hoping he would understand. She sighed, a little irritated.
"No, there's not a way you can just automatically become a hunter. You can be a single hunter on your own, or you can join the organization to be sent on missions. It's a heck of a lot easier than playing guessing games with vampires. Though, as you saw I'm sure, we have to do that too sometimes. I'm one of the higher levels. I get to get my hands dirtier than just killing the weaklings. I really hunt." Mikaela shifted her weight and paused in her speaking.
"If you wish to be a member of the organization, there are things you need to fill out, paperwork as such, several oaths you need to take, and you have to be trained and tested so they know where all they can send you and what you're capable of. It's good to know one's own limits.." Mikaela raised a finely sculpted brow at Horu, her pale pink lips in a slight frown. They were finally at the edge of the park. The moon had set long ago, but the sun could not be seen yet on the horizon. Not even a dusting of light. Give it a hand-length's time and the horizon would be that white that struck just before dawn.
Mikaela chuckled silently at the pet remark, a smirk tugging at her lips. He had a decent sense of humor at least.
"Mister Horu," Mikaela stopped and turned to the man. "Is there a way I can reach you after I board my plane? I don't even know which plane I will be boarding until the last minute, quite literally. I have a cell I can reach you from if you have a means of contact, and I would really much prefer you speak with someone higher up about getting recruited, so to speak. I could set that up if I have a way to reach you. I'm in no position to make that decision on my own, and I can't ask you to follow me around until I'm able to get back to the base. I get sent on assignments and wild chases at the flip of a coin. Heads I'm hunting, tails I get to rest." She stopped, her amber eyes looking directly into Horu's orbs.
"Most of the time, it's heads." Hopefully, he could see her dilemma.
