It seemed to be a crystal clear night in the city of Paris, but the clarity soon dissipated with clouds, blocking most of the beauty that was the night. Vin sighed to himself as he directed his attention away from the sky. He watched the cars, vespas and other motor vehicles on the streets. He walked the sidewalk, walking by the many parks and museums. Vin didn't have to be ancient to know the many changes the world had under taken though out the millenniums. He softly sighed to himself, though, he had yet to find any new friends. The only he considered friends had been Rayne, Erik, James and Dean was merely an acquaintance. He lacked a friend most of the time, someone who was immortal like he, but not confined to duties of leadership. Even more so, he felt alone, even in a sea of people.

Walking along in one of the beautiful Persian parks, Corvidae Harke looked up at the moon just in time to watch it disappear; it was a disappointing sight, for she loved basking in the moon. Pale skin seemed oddly white (to humans, anyway) as she gracefully strolled in the park.
Instead of modern garb, though, Corvidae was seen wearing a light cream dress with a skirt of taffeta and silk, the bodies wrapped tightly around her thin torso in a bodice-like fashion and made out of beautiful silk. It was a new creation of hers, rather different from others, but she liked it for it's new style so she had decided to wear it out that evening.
Around her, Corvi could hear the beating hearts of those finishing their evening walks; she was tempted to feed, but knew she was not quite hungry enough to do so. Brown eyes searched the area for something to entertain her; she had been long without company and was tiring with the lack of people around her. With no one to compliment her looks, Corvidae was rather bored with Paris. In fact, she was so bored, she was considering cutting her trip short and going back to her dear Rayne.

Vin finally gave up and began to walk towards the persian parks, many of which reminded him of the things Erik yused to tell him about Persia. He could hear a thunder of heart beats, a tornado of breath and whirlwind of smells. His senses were beginning to annoy him so he breathed and calmed them down. Soon after, something stuck out, barely a heart beat, soft breathing and merely the smell of immortal death. He blinked and turned his gaze towards it, there, amoungst the crowd, was a lone woman, she semi stuck out like a sore thumb in the crowd. He shifted and walked towards her, perhaps another immortal. Judging from the low heart, breathing and scent, she had to be a vampire. He closed his eyes a moment, not realizing that he brushed past her. He stopped and turned after he realized so. He then walked back.
"I'm sorry for bumping into you, I guess I was walking faster than I thought. Anyway, what is a lady such as yourself doing out so late without an escort?" he said politely.

As she was bumped into, Corvidae was about to say something terse to the being, but then he apologized and she caught the words before they spilled out. He seemed kind enough, so she decided it would be nice to stop and chat for a spell.
"I am very capable of taking care of myself, I suppose," she replied with a grin; Corvi knew that this man would know what she was and agree with her. Of course... there was the propriety of the situation and she was surprised that someone had questioned her decision. "Besides, there is no one with me on my trip to escort me." When she was alive, it was unheard of, but it was a freedom that Corvidae had come to enjoy; it was nice to stroll without being forced to talk to another.
Taking a deep breath, Covi separated the different scents that were a part of this man's being and found it to be an interesting combination. At the same time, she found his scent a welcomed distraction from listening to the heart beats of those still in the park. "May I ask, sir, what is your name?" She inquired, smiling at him and showing a flash of her perfect fangs just for fun. No threat was intended by the action, Corvi just felt like letting them out for a bit-- perhaps she would feed later tonight, but not on this man.

Vin intently listened to her and it brought him a smile. Unbeknowst to her, she was giving off a vibe as to waht she was thinking, it was a rare occurance that he picked up on it, but it wasn't difficult. He comtemplated her words a moment and then finally spoke, taking her hand and kissing the back of it like a gentleman.
"My name is Vîndut Noapte-Dracul, but I prefer to be called Vin. And yours is m'lady?"

As the back of her hand was kissed, Corvi looked away and smiled a little-- something she had done when she was alive as well, but there was no blush to flush her cheeks now. "Delightful," Corvidae stated, the smile still on her face. Her brown eyes had a spark of interest in them as she lowered her hand.
"I am Corvidae Pierce Miette Harke, fledgling daughter of the High Countess Rayne." Oh yes, Corvidae held the pride that many Vampires owned, and she loved letting people know her title. She was still young and had not quite learned all the rules of her new life, but Covi adored it all and was enjoying herself, something she was always ready to do.

Vin inwardly blinked, my she was proud. He smiled and nodded, you should be proud of yourself. He remembered that name though, Rayne and he wandered in his brain a moment before he completely remembered.
"Oh yes, Mademoiselle Misericordia. Its been a while since I've seen Rayne, how is she doing these days?"

"Rayne fares well, as always, thank you," she replied, a fondness in her voice that could only be attributed to speaking of her mother. Corvidae glanced up at the man she was walking with and wondered again, but this time aloud, "What exactly is your breed, sir? I cannot quite pinpoint everything and it will surely drive me mad very soon if I do not know."
Lifting her skirt slightly as their continued their stroll, Corvidae looked down at it for a moment, happy at how beautiful it was; she liked the gown that was different from her normal style, but was sure she would not wear it very often. Trying to direct her thoughts back to Vin, Corvidae looked back up at him; she was a vain creature, indeed.

Vin noted her fondness and could only guess where it came from. He smiled and yet sighed, the sense of family was something blessed to have, but in Vin's case, something dearly missed. Her question of his breed made him laugh to himself. He was unique, indeed, but it never bothered him when actually disclosing what he was.
"Mademoiselle, I am a unique character or breed. I am a hybrid of three immortals. I am Vampire, Lycan and Angel".

"Ah yes!" Covi exclaimed, happy to have the strange mixture revealed to her. "I knew you were of my kind, sir, but the other bloods mixed with it were very confusing. I am rather young still, but a few hundred years old." She smiled and shrugged ever so slightly, something she normally didn't do. As she spoke of her age, a few humans passed by and she winked at them as their eyes widened ever so slightly.
Their thoughts were evident on their faces: Is she serious? Or is she insane? Is this some sort of play they practice for? Corvidae couldn't help but grin as they passed and her tongue traced over her teeth as they sharpened from the temptation. But she was having a conversation-- it would be very rude of her to interrupt for a mere snack.
