An angel stomped to the ground landing with bent knees. Her black wings wiggled behind her stretching from the long flight. Ashleigh Buffay had found that France was her home and even though she hadn't been on Earth for a long time she was now speaking fluent French. It was just a talent of hers, picking things up easily. But she wouldn't tell anybody that, other than the person. The person who she will one day do whatever he or she says. But so far Leigh had found no such person.
Ash walked along the beaten path towards the Eiffel Tower. Most French people would find this landmark an amazing place. But not Ashleigh. She thought it was stipid and that it should never be there. It was in people's way when they want to get passed. It is too tall so when you look out you window to see your view you have a stupid metal bar standing just in front of you.
"Je déteste la Tour Eiffel!" she spat.
Ash walked around the landmark and continued her walk towards a little Inn she had been staying at. But before she could the place she bumped into someone who started to speak to her...

Rushing through Paris at an almost supernatural speed, the young fallen shook his head - his breath heavy with dread and fear. Every so often, he glanced back over his shoulder; bright, glowing sapphire-like eyes full of fear, regret, desperation.
"Je déteste la Tour Eiffel!" Yelling out slightly as he skidded and collided with another mass, Seun trembled slightly from the impact. That, and he was terrified. He always was. Ever since Xander had decided to make the young fallen prime target for his assassinations, the raven-haired angel just hadn't been able to keep still. He hadn't been able to rest easy... so much so that he had been forced to leave, dodging from country to country in fear of being hunted.
"I-I'm s-sorry, I s-should look... I-I kn-now," he stammered, looking up at the person with a fluttering gaze. Wait, she had wings? She was fallen too? Wide eyed, the teen glanced around at the passers by. Yes, the mist would stop them from seeing an angel in the middle of the square, but at the right angel, they were going to see something out of the ordinary.
"Y-You need to hide t-them... t-there's h-humans," he whispered, pointing at her black feathers rather vividly.

Ashleigh had forgotten to hide her wings after she had landed. What a stupid mistake. Yes, she knew what this man was saying. She could pick things up easily couldn't she. She will be able to speak English as well now but their will be a little accent of French in there as now French is her native tongue. Quickley grabbing her jumper from around her waist she threw it over her back and but it on hiding her wings even though there were slight bumps on the back.
Looking around Leigh saw that not many people were looking so she hadn't drawn much attention to herself. Then a thought came across her mind. How did this man know about beings which most humans knew nothing off. He must be a 'breed'. But what kind of breed is he? The same as her, or different, in a bad way? Finally decided to attempt English she spoke to the man.
"Vat iz your breed?"

Twitching nervously, the teen stood on tiptoe - peering over the girl's shoulder. As far as he could tell, he wasn't being hunted for the mean time. Why, why commiting a few sins on earth earned a right to be destroyed - he did not know. But he did not particularly want to find out.
Regaining his composure, Seun frowned slightly, his glowing eyes sparking with confusion. "I'm like you," he responded quietly, raising an eyebrow at her attempt to hide her wings, "It doesn't look like you've been here long enough to learn how to hide your wings."

So it turned out that this man was like herself. A fallen angel. She took grip of his shoulders and looked behind him and saw no bumps. Well, he mustn't be a fallen then. It wasn't possible for him to be able to have no bumps on his back where the wings should be. She pushed him back and scowled at him.
"There iz no bumpz! It iz not pozzible!" she snapped.
Looking the man up and down she started to circle him. If he really was an angel there would be some sign of them on his back. But there just wasn't It really wasn't possible that he was a fallen. Maybe he was a delusianal human who knew about the breeds.
"No, I have not been herez long. Je m'appelle Ashleigh."
Why had she told him her name? It was strange she didn't usually give her name out to others. But why him? And then a thought came through his head. Was this man, the one? The one she would listen to?

Starting softly as she snapped at him, Seun glowered back - running a hand through his already fluffy-charcoal threads. "Don't yell, jeesh..." he countered, rubbing his earlobe tentatively. She hadn't needed to handle him so roughly, either. He would have obliged if she had simply asked him to prove his inhuman trait... bien-sûr... noone ever thought about being nice to him.
Sighing as he rubbed his wrist for a moment, the fallen pulled her quickly towards a sidestreet. Velvety nightmare-like wings let themselves show in the dim light, as the teenager continued to glance around hesitantly for any few mortals that noticed a slight difference to the male. Black, faded with sadness, his feathers hung whereas her own would have marginally been a darkgreying colour. She had not yet commited sins upon the earth, not enough to have her wings react in such a way, not enough to have her pardon scraped from her soul so that she may never see the likes of heaven once again.
"Mon nom est Seun Tyoniee..." he sighed, loathing is own name, his own presence, everything about himself. "Mon conseil? Vous aidez-vous."
