Oh now, he remembered this place.
Perched high atop of the palace foyer, dark crystaline eyes shone out in the eerie nothingness that held captive this remark of history. Yes, he remembered Charlottenburg perfectly. As he stood in silence looking out from the rooftop across Berlin, each thunderous echoing of the destructive bombs resounded once more in his mind. Oh, how memories irritated him.
Jumping down the thirty feet of the building, the young vampire pursed his lips as a few night guards looked up to see a simple shadow cast against the ground besides them. A cruel grin lingered tattooed on their last gaze before clear irises locked with their own gaze, and a pale hand clamped tight over their mouths.
Straightening up, minutes later, Leonardo ran his tongue hungrily over the crimson droplets that littered his chin - savouring every last drop of the warm blood. Glancing up, he smiled slightly, calling one of the men's guard-dogs to his side. "Good dog," he smirked, offering his hand to the shepherd dog and watching as it licked away the excess blood of its master from his pale skin.
Patting the animal with a light chuckle, the escort wondered on a few places down the street - shoulder-length bangs tickling his shoulders as he walked. The shrill tone of his phone rang out from the pockets of his tight fitting jeans. Rolling his eyes, Leo lifted it to his ear, cursing under his breath. "No, I don't want any clients tonight... Look, I said no already... Well, reschedule then!" he growled at the caller, glancing around to make sure h hadn't attracted any attention. "Forget it," he muttered, hanging up and shoving the cell back into his clothing.
No, tonight he was not here for work.

Ashleigh Buffay had never been Germany. And it was about time that she visited. So as she landed she shape shifted her wings away so she looked like a usual human being. She walked down a few random streets and started to whistle to herself. She was enjoying herself down on Earth instead of up in heaven. In heaven there were so many rules but down here she could do whatever she wanted. Smoke; sex and drugs. She might not want to do all of those things but still at least it was OK if she actually did them.
Leigh started to skip whilst whistling to herself down a backstreet when she bumped into a young man. He was quite handsome and he had such a paleness but darkness to him. A vampire? Or maybe just a pale human. He was cute though and Ashleigh liked him. She giggled at him before stepped back and biting her lip.
"Sorry about that!" she said.

Barely flinching as another solid mass bumped into him, the young vampire glanced down with an eyebrow raised. First instinct rolled on by as the escort looked the girl up and down, quickly finding both pros and cons, perfections and faults. Sure, this minx was cute, but Leo really wasn't interested unless he was getting some sort of payment.
Besides, he sensed something from her. A sort of innocence in her blood that surely could only have been as white as the spirit and as golden as the archs above. Almost... angelic.
Angelic bretheren? he growled inwardly at the idea, wrinkling his nose slightly in irritation and disapproval. If there was one thing he couldn't stand, it was an angel. True, during his human life he had been almost devoted to his faith and to the divine justice of his God, but that no longer exsisted. No, God broke that commitment when he let Leo live on in such a painful way.
"Don't worry about it, sweetheart," he smirked, leaning back against the backstreet wall and pulling a cigarette from his military-like jacket. The german took up the stick, lighting it the old fashioned way before inhaling the deep taric scent and flavours. Ah, it felt good to poison his already life-less heart with a toxin it could not cure.
It's not like it would matter.
Leonardo's clear crystaline irises watched her closely as she giggled, shooting her a coy flash of his teeth. Don't be mistaken, he loathed her species, breed, to the ends of his earth and back... he just liked to play around a little beforehand.

Ashleigh felt herself blush but then realize that this man had some kind of displeasure that the fallen one was actually there. Why, she did not know, but she knew he didn't want her there. But he wasn't getting rid of her that easily. She watched as the man fell back to lean on the wall. There was something strange about him, Leigh new he was not a human and not a fallen. But what was he?
"Vampire?"
The angel cocked her head and turned to leave. But instead of walking off she picked up a small piece of wood. Some may think that she was going to hit him with it but she wasn't - she just wanted to fiddle with something - and if she did need to stake him: she would. She turned and smiled at the 'vampire' awaiting for his answer.

Narrowed eyes watched the young woman carefully through the thick clouds of smoke formed from his drug. He pursed his lips slightly, resting the backs of his first two fingers against them in thought.
He held half a mind to walk off now, to leave before he did something irrational. But, oh, that was not his way at all. Infact, he deemed to do opposite. She was an angel, fallen or half, he wasn't sure - but he would guarantee that she had wings upon her back. What did angelic blood taste like anyway? Probably full of cherub vomit and purity. Would that poison me or enlighten me?... The escort trailed off into his own thoughts, barely noticing her retrieve the wood from the ground.
Light eyes flickered upwards as she addressed him, a small hrmph like noise caught in his throat. Crushing the addiction beneath his foot, Leonardo stepped forth - avoiding her question and instead touching a deathly-cold finger to her cheek and leaning close to her ear. How he adored mind games!
"Why did you fall, angel? Was it for vainity..... because the other messengers didn't see your beauty like you did?" he whispered, his cool breath tickling her lobe. It was a guess on his part, if he was wrong, he was wrong. All he could do then was act like he knew really. But it worked perfectly well as a compliment covering an insult.

Ashleigh grasped the piece of wood as he flew in closer to her body so that he was whispering into her ear. Yes it was a compliment but Ash knew it was meant to be an insult. She may as well tell him the truth that she attempted to kill another. She brought the piece of pointy wood up and placed it to rest on his heart.
"I killed another! OK so she left out the bit about not actually succeeding in killing the angel but how was he to know?

A short intake gasp caught in the vampire's throat as his crystaline irises flickered down to the wood resting at his chest. Lips parted in a small shape of surprise, Leo let his hand run down the side of her cheek - stopping to brush against her shoulder. Apart from that, he dared not move. Not even to move back... one small wrong move would cost him life.
"You killed another..." he repeated softly, his gaze still fixated on her natural weapon. "So, tell me, killer, how does one kill an angel?" he smirked quietly, slowly bringing his left hand up to grasp the hand that held the wood, and gently pulling it away bit-by-bit.
