It seemed like an odd place to keep a low profile, but Astrid Cersei knew that most Shifters were just here for a drink and maybe to meet a couple friends. She enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar, but wished that she felt more comfortable than being around all those people, even if they were Shape Shifters like she was.
Today had been a long day, the night before filled with nightmares and sleeplessness. Having decided that she wanted to be surrounded by her kind, Astrid had Shifted into her swift Falcon form and made the flight to Two Faces, hoping to feel comfort from being around her own kind. She wondered if any of them were part of the Shifter court, but hadn't really paid attention to it as of late so had no idea. Ah well, all that mattered to her was the cup of coffee with Bailey's in it.
Astrid was a bit of a lush, but her Shifter and touch of Fae blood kept her from ever getting really drunk. This was always nice, but today she was frustrated that she couldn't just forget everything. Life had been odd since Lady Cersei, a fellow Shifter and a mother-figure to her, had passed on. Looking around the room and feeling her own heightened body heat, Astrid smiled at the differences she saw in Shifters all around her; here, they were all able to proudly bare a part of who they were. Different animals, as well as changing hair and eyes, showed her what kind of Shifters they were and they all interested her-- they were interesting to observe.
Her clothes were nice, but a little more casual than usual, but she was comfortable at least. Her brown mini skirt fit the colors of autumn, but not the weather (which she didn't notice, thanks to utilizing the body heat of her hawk form). Her green shirt was cute and accented her curves nicely. On her feet were a pair of lovely brown snakeskin shoes (she enjoyed wearing snakeskin, for it reminded her of her father).
With a sigh, Astrid Cersei stood and walked to the bar to get her cup refilled. It was a deliciously smooth blend of alcohol and coffee and as Astrid walked back to her seat, she dared to smile a couple people, but no more.

Two faces bar, what an odd name for a place to relax. He knew it was a name meant to express that people with more than one face went there but he didn't like being compared to people that where bipolar. Well anyway he was bored and a little lonely so he decided to go to the shape-shifter's pub and get a drink. And maybe something to eat. He usually preferred hunting for his food and taking down something big with his teeth, but he wasn't really that hungry.
So he loped towards the smell of alcohol, meat, and smoke. He was in his full timber wolf form, Dark gray fur on his back and lighter fur on his belly. It was a good thing that The Pub was on the edge of town and close to the local forest. Be cause even after he transformed into his natural human form he would have looked strange any where else. He was a big man with, long light brown hair, that form a trimmed goatee around his mouth. He was musclar and broad shoulders he was the kinda guy that most people did look forward to pissing off. But that wasn't what made his stand out. Arond his neck and over his chest was a necklace of bear teeth, and draped over his shoulders was an unbuttoned Wolf skin vest. He had a raven feather tied to a band that was wrapped around his right bicep. He also wor a pair of deer skim jeans with a snake skin belt. And on he feat he was wearing a pair of heave bear skin boots. He always wore animal hides, and every one of the skins he wore he made himself, form his kills.
In his Animal skin attire he walked up to the bar looking like a barbarian from the midevil era. He wasn't the strangest one in the joint at lest he didn't have cat ears poking out of his head. Like some people in the bar might have. He walked up to a bar and ordered a pint of guiness, a rather dark beer that tasted really bitter but was stronger than most. He sat in a stool just as a younger looking girl walked up to the table. to get a refill. His still sensitive smell told him that she had been drinking Irish coffee. He started to feel a little talkative might as well talk to someone he did come here to get out of the solitude for a little while. And she was a girl, who knows maybe he might get lucky . that though made him laugh,. The change was far-fetched very few shape-shifters where human like he was, and many where not as effected by alcohol. And without beer goggles who'd want to be seduced by him?
"Hey there, mind if i By you a drink?" He asked her when her eyes met his as she smiled at people.

Astrid saw the large man in the room and she jumped a bit when he spoke to her. A bit of her coffee sloshed and hit the floor, thankfully one landing on her. "Oh, what, me?" she asked, still a bit surprised. "Uh... yeah, sure. I could use another," she said with a small smile. Astrid was suddenly feeling timid, for this man was so big and, in some ways, he reminded her of her father. Then again, he was already much kinder than her father ever was, so perhaps she should just try to be courteous to someone.
"Just an Irish coffee," she said with a shrug as she set the one she had just ordered on the corner table she had been sitting at. It was in the corner for it gave her optimal view of the room and was felt a bit more secluded than some of the other tables. "Come have a seat, too." It was time to actually have a conversation with the wolf Shifter.
Taking another deep breath, Astrid Cersei reminded herself of a few things. I am strong... I am free... I am strong, I am free... All fear left her and the extremely experienced Shape Shifter was calmed down. Her body temperature was very high, but she didn't care because it made the room feel very nice, and seemed to make the alcohol go through her system even faster than it normally did; of course, this meant less of a buzz, but she didn't mind. Astrid just liked being warm, even hot, to the touch. In some ways, she seemed to think that it kept people away from her a little more. Apparently not this guy, though.

Well, she took the offered drink, He guessed that was at least one step in the right direction. He was usually one to keep to himself but but today he felt different.I guess you could say he was just lonely after living for years on his own in the woods. Maybe it was that both the wolf and the human in him needed some acceptance. Wolves normally lived in packs and humans where the most social animals in the world It only made sense for him to seek so company.
He wouldn't have minded just staying up at the bar, that way when he finished his drink the next wouldn't be as long in coming. Still he felt it didn't hurt to follow the young lady, or at least she seemed young. In a place like this you never could tell a shifter could be hundreds of years old and look twenty by human standards. He was the only one that actually looked his age. He was in his early thirties, and he was pure blood human. He ability to change his natural appearance came from the nature magic he had learned as a druid. Shape shifting wasn't his only ability but it was the only one that really mattered.
Well, anyway, he nodded, and followed, beer mug in hand, her to a table in the corner of the room. As they walked toward the table he caught the whiff of the fear emanating from the girl he had addressed. It started to lessen but it didn't completely vanish. He sat down at the table. Well might as well start with Introductions, "My name is Horu, what's yours?"

As the brutishly large male (who was dressed in rather brutish clothes, but Astrid had seen many interesting things in her day, so overlooked it) walked back over and took a seat, Astrid scooted over so they weren't sitting very close to each other. Nothing against him, just habit. Now she had two coffees, though she knew she would finished both quickly.
Horu, interesting name, Astrid thought to herself before answering. "Astrid, Astrid Cersei," she said with a smile. The Shifter felt as if something had put her in a mellow mood-- whether it was the coffee or just being in the bar, she did not know-- and she was already feeling good about having someone to talk to. Unfortunately, the laid-back mood meant that she had just ruined her want to have an evening in private; Astrid hoped no one remembered her name. This guy, though looked to be in about his thirties and not after anything, but Astrid couldn't begin to guess how old he was.
Taking a drink of her Irish coffee, she allowed the smooth liquid to slither down her throat. Slither... like the cobra she could be, though she was still sometimes uncomfortable with that form. From what Astrid knew, she was one of the most versatile Shifters alive at the time; this had to do with the bit of Fae blood that sometimes showed in the way her eyes seemed to hold their own light. Her voice was silvery and almost song-like (as a Fae's would be), but didn't make Astrid seem young. In fact, if anything it added an air of mystery or sophistication to her.
"Are you from around here, Horu?" Astrid inquired, trying to get back into the conversation. It was kind of this man to come over to him, but she was still wondering if there was some underlying meaning to this run-in.
